Ok I can't believe what's going on here at all. After 21 changes to me and my buddy's vacation plans it seems that we are doin something crazy. Well crazy if you just look at how far we're driving.

Hmm lets put it this way it all started last year after a long road trip to Chicago. It was decided that we'd do another trip this year and set things in motion to go to Florida so we could ya know see Disney and stuff. So it was decided then that's what we were gonna do then some friends couldn't go there were changes to places we'd go up until earlier this week when I realized that at the last idea that was a quick tour of Nova Scotia for a few places would actually be almost the same cost as going to Florida like we had originally planned. So now me and my buddy are DRIVING to Florida for an Anime Convention!! Sooo tomorrow we leave after maybe 3 days of planning for a 4000 KM drive each way. Ah soo much fun to be had

Well so much for being half way there. Not any more. With the cost of having to get a new dryer for the house all my hopes of upgrading anytime soon have gone out the window. As annoying as that is I guess I'll just have to deal with it.

So now I'm just gonna save for my vacation this summer *Which is on thin ice now* Not only did we loose one friend that was going with us the other two now might not be able to go which means it might be a complete bust! DAMN!! No Disney for me this year and no meeting of My City of Heroes friends. It sucks right.

Oh well I'll just have to see how things run out now. Wish me luck!! I'll need it.

Well like the title says I'm half the way to getting my upgrade. The funny thing is my friends told me to try playing City of Heroes on my laptop and it worked! Though it's very slow and very annoying to play for a long time I can at least say hi to everyone and run a mission or two before going slightly insane. So that's a bit of good news for me. Also a couple of weeks ago I bought a hard drive enclosure so I could access a few of my files and move some stuff off my laptop to get some room back on it. It was definitely a good investment and it looks like it'll be quite helpful later on after I pick up a new hard drive to swap out of my system.

I still can't draw much though. Every time I try it seems like the thought of what I'm about to draw goes away and I can't seem to do anything. It really sucks. Though a lot of the stuff I think of I don't have the skills to draw yet either. hell even the pic that I drew and posted wasn't quite what it was supposed to look like but it does look alright. Well I suppose I'll figure out some way of getting myself back into it eventually.

Would you believe 2 weeks before Christmas my video card dies and I can't get another one anywhere in the city. It's terrible because now I have to upgrade and I was hoping my computer would last at least another year before I needed to upgrade. That's the problem using slightly older technology when it goes it sometimes costs a fortune to get back to normal. Well considering all things it cold have been much worse at least all my data isn't gone it's just unaccessible until I can upgrade. Though it really puts me behind in all my collections. The laptop i use hasn't quite got the space needed to continue to collect my anime, and I unfortunately can't access any of my disks because it doesn't have a CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive in it, and the worse art of all I can't play any of my games because this laptop can't handle anything more than online poker, so that kinda sucks. Now with Christmas over I can focus on saving in hopes to get back up and running with in the next couple of months. ( Ouch that hurts to say )

I also just realized that this is worse than I really figured. Now I have to use the money that I've been saving for a trip this coming summer to go towards my computer. Which also puts me behind in being prepared for the trip to the US. Now I have to be extra frugal (as if I wasn't before ) the rest of the year just to be able to have money to take the trip. Oh man when it Rains it pours!

Finally got my new message board up and running and the best thing is that there are no pop-ups!! The next thing will be to get my website back up and running.
